STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Emily earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the College of Charleston. After working for a local certified public accounting firm, she decided to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Teaching Elementary Education from The University of Charleston.

 

She then spent six years with Charleston County School District as an educator before she was called back to the accounting profession. In the fall of 2013, she joined Hinske & Clarey, LLC as a Staff Accountant specializing in high-level individual tax planning, consultation, and compliance. Emily became a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2021.

Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends at the beach, on the boat, and in the mountains. She has two daughters and a son. They also have Luke, a beloved black lab.
